AHS is working to ensure that Albertans have innovative ways to access information about healthcare services by providing applications for mobile devices. Having a single AHS app on the two most-used mobile platforms, iOS and Android, means Albertans will be able to find official AHS content and functionality without sorting through the hundreds of thousands of available apps.

New Feature: Advance Care Planning (Goals of Care Designations)
This feature provides Albertans with an interactive tool to think, learn, choose, and communicate about Advance Care Planning with their families and their health care team. The Advance Care Planning feature also walks you through Goals of Care Designations, which are used to further define and communicate your individual Goals of Care to health care providers.

Now available on the , MedHF is a tool designed to assist clinicians caring for patients with heart failure. Developed by Alberta Health Services’ Cardiovascular Health & Stroke Strategic Clinical Network (SCN), the MedHF iPhone app utilizes algorithms that support healthcare professionals in the initiation, titration, assessment and monitoring of 4 drug classes commonly used to treat heart failure.
