Grande Cache is currently without network, landline or cellphone services

911 calls can still be made from cellphones but 911 calls cannot be made from landlines. The Grande Cache Community Health Complex remains open and continues to provide care to all patients. EMS continues to be available for area residents. The cause of the issue is being investigated by Telus.

Cardiovascular Health and Stroke
Strategic Clinical Network

The Cardiovascular Health and Stroke Strategic Clinical Network (SCN) aims to improve the prevention, treatment and management of vascular disease, bringing together programs and services that care for cardiac and stroke patients and their caregivers.

We are a province-wide team of health care professionals, researchers, community leaders, patients and policy makers, which aims to reshape heart and stroke care in Alberta.

What's New

A provincial strategy for increasing access to Endovascular Therapy (EVT), a stroke treatment that removes large stroke-causing clots from the brain and substantially improves the chance for a better outcome for eligible patients, is now available. Learn more about the Endovascular Reperfusion Alberta (ERA) Project.
