Youth ER Experience Survey

Many children and youth are going to emergency rooms (ER) across Alberta when they are experiencing emotional crisis, often related to substance use or mental health issues.

Youth, families and emergency room staff have told us the services provided by an ER may not always be what’s needed in these situations – we are looking for your feedback.

We have created two surveys to help AHS map out a patient’s journey to help improve care for children, youth and their families, each will take about 10 minutes to complete. Results are confidential and anonymous. Check out the Survey FAQ for more information or the survey infographic. The survey will be available until September 30.
